L’arte di Stefano Catalini nasce da una pulsione costruttiva e formativa originaria, profonda, sentita e condivisa con spontaneità e naturalezza. Ogni sua opera, di piccole o grandi dimensioni, è sia origine che emanazione di infinite altre possibilità espressive, tutte colte al momento opportuno con saggezza, umanità e raffinatezza. L’artista marchigiano offre sempre con tatto al pubblico i suoi “pezzi” come fossero piatti pre-libati necessari a fissare le tappe di un percorso-rito agnostico. Catalini punta sempre alla massima qualità della materia (e del percepire/sentire/toccare) ma senza ostentare spudorati “effetti”, o texture “intimidatorie” capaci solo, in realtà, di far perdere il con-tatto con la parte migliore (perché generalmente inaudita) della ritualità estetica. Le sue opere hanno tutte una grande potenzialità di crescita e di proliferazione perché sono “senza margini”, fanno pensare a sezioni della vita intrauterina dell’esistenza, una vita infinita e tutt’altro che sine macula.

Stefano Catalini’s art is generated by a deep constructive and formative drive, which is felt and shared with spontaneity and naturalness. Each of his works, be it of big or small dimensions, is both the origin and the emanation of infinite expressive possibilities, all of them caught at the right moment, with wisdom, humanity and refinement. The Marche artist always offers his public his “pieces” tactfully, as if they were choice dishes  necessary to fix the stages of an agnostic route-ritual. Catalini always aims at the maximum quality of the material (and of perceiving/feeling/touching) but without parading blatant effects or intimidatory “textures”, which are, actually, only able to make you lose the contact with the best part (as it is usually unheard-of) of the aesthetic rituality. All of his works hare a great growth and proliferation potential because they are without margins, they get you to think about stages of the intrauterine existence, an infinite life, anything but sine macula.
